Remember just starting out for Trim Line, a auto trim company, in a narrow garage. The pull down rope for the garage door had a long hoop in it. Backing out of the bay the hoop caught the passenger door side mirror and ripped it right off a 78 Trans Am. Not a happy camper. :dunno

this was back in '80-'81. The car was in great shape then. If it happened now 20 + years later and was as in good a shape I would have died. You don't find those cars in very good shape anymore.

Man, I did the same thing with an F-350. One of those extendo mirrors. I was going so fast that the mirror hit the other side of the shop!! :lol  325$ :lol

Yeah, the extended set-up that doesn't fold in are quite the mofo to maneuver through tight door widths.
