maybe some of you guys do this because I learned this when I first started from someone else.Using a small palm sander on the dots will get them very smooth and close to flush with the glass. using 1-2 inch masking tape , mask off the area that you are not going to sand so you dont scratch the glass.use 600 grit or finer.keep it wet and wipe clean reguarly.keep the sandpaper clean. use light pressure and be gentle.then clean the dot area well with dot devil .when applying film,an orange crush or simular sqeegee will lay that film down good.I have found this teqniue to have beautiful results. :wall
