3M yamato? :lol

but you can see shadows, just not objects.

:poop you will always see shadows as long as you have semi-transparent material on the window. Solid white is the olny way to go if it has to be white with no shadowing...

Exactly

Need either black-out or white-out to hide studs

Madico used to make a Bronze prviacy film. It looked good and you didn't have to worry about heat absorption like you do with blackout.

Not sure if they still make it though. :thumb

It's still around Ready but even that will show studs close to the glass. Whiteout would have been the best choice IMO.

This has happened twice to me lately.Contractor wants white frost, not opaque ,to hide a buildout next to the windows. If its a wall that blocks all the light then you can't see the studs etc.But if it's a freezer that's stainless steel and right next to the window you can sort of see it.Now we have to layer it with something, but what?? They like the light but don't want opaque.Should we put another layer on all the windows.I don't think it will pass with just doing two of the eight windows, as the two will look different. So we have frost..nrmps2 ..what shall we add? Heat is not an issue and didn't notice if its tempered. Thanks

Using any tinted film first and secondly - matte You will got very interesting effect. Try to use 50% film and matte. Installing reflective silver and matte You will got mirror. Also idea - to use DECOLITE or DECOGARD films, IMHO...
