G'day Blade,

Seeing I got off on those great photos you posted, I'd thought I'd include a couple of my own up in the high country where my people come from.

The Snowy River is an Aussie icon and this part of the country is extremely isolated population wise.

The river is as famous as your Mississippi and is relatively tame now as it has a massive hydro scheme that now stops it flooding built high up in the mountains way past this point.

That tiny single lane bridge you can just see was completely washed away in 1932 just days before the official opening of the bridge.

These photos are taken off road and even the big American had to be winched up and over to the helipad from where the next shot is taken. Too steep and too wet.
