Mdog said it all !! Same here at my shop. If its a "redo" on some older vehicles, we have to pull the package tray depending on vehicle to get the old film off, other than that, we can remove it, or "card", behind most taillights, or cut around it if necessary, and still make it look like the factory did-it !! Old School RULES !!! TR :hmmm

If it pops out or unscrews I remove it always.

If its there and is fixed but there is room to squeege behind I will do that.

If its something like the :hmmm azz maliby brakelight I have no problem cutting around it and dont even think twice about it.

I try to pull most of 'em

I have rolled out a few malibus with that fuzzy grey deck showing through a cutout back glass :bat

that is an ugly mofo though

I would rather pull the pillar cover on one side and pop the snaps behind the seat

and fold that big fuzzy mug of a deck without taking out the seat

I think that is grey goat hair covering that thang :bingo
