I used plexus

and replaced it with ivory in alcohol

still use it

Yeah went soap after doing wet and never turned back and have only to do one two piece in a long time

all about the soap but I heard some people having some success with teflon wax

I use soap and water on flatter glass, and dryer sheet on tougher windows. Saves lots of headache on the beetle. Only exception is, I have found the soap and water can't be beat on the Camaro and T/A.

I agree with u Phat. Wet is the way to go first one I ever tried, I tried to dry and there is just no need to shrink the whole window cause of the pocket in the bottom middle.
