I dont like the fact that the NBA will take some kid outta high school and pay him more money than we'll ever make in a lifetime, ie that kid on the cavaliers. What incentive do these kids have to get an education? They think if they can play basketball then they can be rich. Michael Jordan said it best on Oprah last year. He said that the back in his day he and players like Barkley, Bird all worked hard to make their name in Basketball, they went to college and got noticed and were motivated to make something of themselves. They had class. These immature young 19 yr olds arent ready to play in the NBA and why shouldnt they be held to the same standard as something like the NFL where these guys play their hearts out in College to be picked by a pro team, thats just my .02,,,and Carmelo is a thug, I dont care what you say.

I would pass on college...for all that money...

can always go back to school....an NBA contract my not always be there.

But I do agree the standards have become way low.

I wish I could make a living playing a game, or singing....or just being way too pretty..
