I don't know rather to be insulted or laugh my a$$ off .. I just got a bill in from Suntek in Virginia for the sample literature package they have for inquiring in their film...guess how much the bill is for...

$1.00 :gasp

Either charge me what it's really worth or be like most distributors and don't charge at all..$1.00 :sign

I have tried most films, johnsons, llumar, sun-gard etc etc, and the suntek hp, but I think the carbon is prob one of the best films I have used for, blending, shrinking, matching factory glass (majority of it anyway) and good for the higher end cars as well because of no interference also and I love the look of it as well :gasp

So overall does everything I want instead of having various rolls for different cars/ reasons

As for fading etc etc, I live where you have more chance of seeing the loch ness monster than the sun

That's just a nominal amount for customs declaration. You actually don't have to pay up you tightazz :lol:lol2

Duty had nothing to do with it ..or at least wasn't mentined anywhere on the invoice :jerkit

I just thought it was funny getting a bill for $1.00 from a film company :gay

Based on the exchange rate, I'll mail them a loonie and expect 4 pennies back :lol

:lol not the duty, it's just a declared value for the customs entry. Make sure you deduct postage from that dollar :lol

      I am looking for an experienced Window Tint and/or PPF installer for a new shop opening in North Dallas (Frisco, Prosper, McKinney area). Must be damn good with a strong work ethic and put out quality work. You’ll have plenty of freedom but work is expected to get done as customers come first.       TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      All Right cool. I've been practicing with an inexpensive tint I found on amazon. Its called Rockrose. I'm just about ready to make some cards to pass around to get clientele. I've been debating if I should start with Puremax cuz its a lot cheaper or Geoshield cuz of the great quality I've heard of. I'll probably go with Geoshield so I can make it easy on myself and make sure I do great quality work for my customers. Are you already doing doing jobs for customers? If so, did you stop using the Puremax and now only use Geoshield?

      Heavy Ghosting - Geoshield "Geo" Line

      Ghosting week require a smoother, more even and spread out shrink. Look at my old "ryk shrink" using 2 heart guns with an over/under setup. That would be my suggestion.

      Heavy Ghosting - Geoshield "Geo" Line

      Hey all, I am not a pro tinter but more or less just someone who likes to experiment / DIY. Wanted to ask if there was anyone here who has used the Geoshield "Geo" line for automotive purposes? I really like the color, but I get really bad ghosting for anything that requires decent shrinking. The film is specced as architectural, but has a PS adhesive so some use it in auto applications. I sent an email to see if that is the reason why it's for flat glass .. lol This is a sputtered TiN film and has a beautiful color imho. This reminds me of Huper Optik, and not quite sure but I think Johnson had a line called "InsulatIR" that I could never get my hands on to try. The film has a slightly purplish reflection (TiN I guess), when put on green auto glass, filters out and looks super neutral. ❤️ I've had it on my auto for a while but my rear window is a mess when the sun hits it (ghosting) and was curious if this is just not suitable for auto Any info would be appreciated. Skill issue, ie: shrink with lower heat? lol Thanks.

      chameleon window tint good quality

      If you don't mind trying to source some, there is a large Japanese manufacturer that makes a bunch of dichroic - looking films. It might be your style, but it would be hard to get your hands on some. https://www.braintec.co.jp/filmlab/ I believe some of the films do have decent heat-rejection, but because of the nature of the films, looking through them can be really funky. They are well-known in Japan and would likely be of decent quality. Also, very expensive. Depending on where you are, shipping would also be $$$.

      TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      I feel the difference in quality with geoshield. Not only is it easier to peel the liner off but shrinking feels better and I think the material feels slightly thicker(helps with not creasing) Only downside that the price noticeably different. For mainly everything Its atleast another 100 on top of for example stuff from tints Lexen. I haven’t tried solarfree either.

      At least twice, yes. Although since we don't know what vehicle it is you're planning to tint, that was a bit presumptuous of me.
