The whole car is pretty easy. The full hood is cake. You lay the film down and tack it then lift it up and do it all upright to make things easy. Full fenders lay real nice on them as well. Nice smooth curves to work with. The price marco mentioned above is pretty much right on.

thanks for the feed back...I guess I priced it out a little lower then that ..but not much..but ill take what I got. :beer

If you have to ask how difficult you most likely can't do it right.

how many 08 Z06s have you done? I've never done one...does that mean I'd not be able to do it right? I did an 08 camry last week...never have done one before...does that mean I did it wrong? :beer I'm sure most of you know what I wanna post right now. but I'll refrain.... :beer

No problem. However, I would like to reiterate that the How-to I posted is intended for kits designed by Proform. Designs created by other design houses may not install the same way.

It's basically the same as any other Corvette,the options are pretty easy, but the mirrors are tricky. I haven't installed full fenders so I don't know how that is.

Full front install with all options about $2500 :twocents

I like that price... :lol

Yea the only difference between the Z06 and the base model is the Z06 has a black moulding on the front wheel wells...I unscrew em and tape em back to the rim...that way I can wrap the edge. With a kit you dont need to do that. :lol

      Automotive Tint Comparison

      LLumar, 3M and Solargard have in the industry as far back as the genesis of window film mid-1960's). Solargard is the younger of the three and all others came to play in the last 20 or so years. I've had all three on my vehicles over the years and my current is 3M Crystalline on my Jeep since 2015. It still has stable color, scratch coat is holding strong and impeccable adhesive clarity. Never been garaged. My choice toady would be 3M or LLumar.

      Hook up with Glassy Business and get all the ins and outs of pro vs DIY with window film. That company goes back way before my retirement in 2015. I want to believe they are/were a Vista Film dealer and I cannot remember the owner's name. Peace out.

      Once more thank you, you are the best I been looking at the specs for the products you mention and info into tinting a window. I recently did wrap my wife's car and it turn out really nice, for what I have been seeing tinting a window is similar and I am tempted to do it myself. With that said I can't find any place to buy the products you mention, I found quite a few films in Amazon but they seem sketchy. There is other web sites selling films but the ones you mention I can’t locate, anyhow is there any place where I can buy this products?

      Forgot to mention; if your house is under HOA, you may have to check in with them. Some, eh hem, many seemingly shy away from having a reflective look to the glass. A dual reflective with a visible light transmission of 35% (ex: NV35) would likely be more palatable to HOA, but not so happy for the owner. Your position to take with them is: The higher the reflectivity of a film product, the better when dealing with desert heat. There exists a necessary (physics) compromise in every window film transaction. Can't please all parties. Glad I could help educate.

      Thank you very much Tinguy1980, I was just about to mess it up. I appreciate your insight! I would have never guessed that the products I was thinking about "run counterintuitive to the use of the product" for the excessive heat. Frankly it does get so hot in that room that at this point I am less about how it looks and more about performance, during summer the AC never stops running in that room, electricity prices here in Las Vegas is up there hence I am trying to invest in ways to cool that room down.
