Who here uses a filmhandler

started out with a 60', someone stole that one along with my truck and everything in it ,got the truck back in a canal minus everything.

now I'm using a 72' , have been since they came out and wouln't be without one.

I have only been on a couple of jobs where it is feasible to roll liner off the machine cause you need to move the handler along the bank of windows ,but if you have the right situation: put the film on handler so when you get the liner started removing , it will roll off the back . if the liner is on the outside of the roll it works best cause the film will be over the taping bar ... if it is on the inside you just put the film under the taping bar and do the same.

the first couple of pieces will take more time to work with cause it's the weight of the liner that keeps things rolling.

I sprayed the film right on the handler then just transfered to window .

it is an assembly line situation, just keep dragging your setup every 4-5 windows ,keep it close and you just pull ,wet, turn, and apply.

if it was a huuuuuuge job I would probably make a roller platform for the ladder/handler and stand back :lol

hope that helps

p.s. nice logo callwild
