Spring fishing the Columbia

Today was the last day of spring salmon season, some beautiful fish. I didn’t catch anything but some great views fishing at the mouth of the Columbia Gorge for about 12 out of the last 30 days. The first picture is Jon one of my graphic/ paint protection guys who caught 6 about this size and was able to keep 5 of them.

The second picture is the view from the front porch of a small floating home (10 to 30 foot of water) on the Columbia River that I bought last year. Nothing like just floating the boat in and out of the garage! Sturgeon fishing starts tomorrow……….

Government Island off to the left is where Lewis and Clark camped.

being reminded of fishing after im done moving on the first of the month I think we will all go on a charter boat before the season hits really hard

sure does Mark but I have caught pleanty of fish in the dirty verdy! Great fishing up here
