done several single pane windows with silver film :lol No warranty but NO problems either

If the outer pane is the one with wire glass the film will not stress it as much anyway. That is a new one though, Never seen a dual pane wire glass unit I'll bet that puppy cost a buck or three :lol

I've tinted a ton in basically every flat glass film out there and never had a single problem.

:lol:lol as long as you cover your azz and let the custy know the potential problem..in writing.

I have a situation here.

It is IG and wired on the outer pane.

I was thinking about exterior film (REX 20)

Any suggestions?

Could it be done , and than not brake right away?

We installed a lot. NO PROBLEMS. But my guys used heatguns installing.

now this is interesting

I think we will try it

I just don't understand why heatguns :dumbass

and another question

how do I make those multiple quotes in my reply?

I see the buton but I dot understand how to quote more than one message

You have use heat gun because wired glass is not flat (palin) it's....how I may say - it's not flat :thumb - that's why my guys used heatgun, but we did a lot of such works many years.

Heatguns??? Don't understand what that has to do with it.

If your customer knows the potential for problems and is willing to go ahead then it sounds OK to me.

I never installed films - but I saw like my guys used heatguns to install - for example - bronze film on WIRED GLASS.
