I have a garbage can and try to put most of my scraps in them while I'm cutting. After I finish a car I just pick up the extra scraps with my hand it's easier then sweeping. I hate scrapes on the floor, all you guys know what I'm talking about when you almost slip n fall on you a$$. About once a week I take a car speaker tied to some speaker wire and drag it against the floor and pick up all the snapped blades.

Same here, if the trash can is too far away, I put the cut pcs. on top of the vehicle and pick them off when I'm done.

As for the snap blades, we have magnets with wheels on the ends and roll them around the floor.

They sell ones at home depot without the wheels, that are made for picking up roofing nails, about 15 bux... :thumb

Funny

When I did auto, we would run 20 to 30 vehicles a day during peak season. Raking it was fast and simple. Much faster and easier than pushing a broom.
