im having the same problem, no clue of what they are talking about.

right, the newbies makin up names as they go. where the he!! did frankinstein come from anyways. thats funny cause one of my installers was "snapping" a car window and I asked if he knew what he was doing had a name. he asked me doing what, shrinking the window. I said no, that pass you make with the heat gun along the top of the window, he looked at me like I was stupid. I told him I learned that name from tintdude.com, he said he didnt know it had a name.

I'm pretty sure the term "frankenstein" came from the way a tinter looks as he is transferring the film while using this method. Arms straight out in front of you while walking. Looks like Frankenstein walking

reverse roll almsot always. some hatchs will get frankied, but almost always reverse rolled.
