It's all that combined, along with beeing able to do it in first try and quick enough to be worth it...

Just take it to a pro :poke

Trimming the tint is the easiest, and cleaning and preparing the glass.

be prepaired to go though alot of Tint :thumb Good luck :thumb

Agreed. For this newb, applying the tint w/ pro-level acceptability.

I've been feeling confident from my latest conquests, so I eagerly offered my services to practice on my friend's Odyssey.

1st try - solution tacked up too fast. Adhesive smudges. Shraaaacck!!!! (sound of tint being ripped off window)

2nd try - super small crease in middle of windows Shraaaack!!! (friend thought I was nuts, but I was going for pro-quality)

3rd try - almost perfect, except for that stupid bug near the bottom. Shraaack!!!

4th try - two super small smudges. I decided to leave it and call it a day.

Did I mention this was only on one window? I was going to do the fronts on his brand new truck, but after today's beating, I'm telling him to take it to a pro.

A confidence-destroying day for someone who thought they were progressing... :(
