Can't believe you guys are missing the most important ones. The ones that my new guy still can't figure out.

Blue tool-blue max

yellow tool- slammer

black tool- 5 way tool

grey tool- hard card

today I asked him to get me the film stretcher from the tool box :lol

uckem puckey = that sticky gooey black crap that gets all over your squeegy... usually on a replacement windshield up at the top of the eyebrow or down in the bottom of the back glass.

My tinter and I used to argue over this one. He called it poookin doooey. :lol

zigged when ya shoulda zagged = Scrutinizing our work pointing out daylight (that's a miniscule area of the window where the tint is cut a hair too short)

Me too! That Caprice today had it over the windshield. Used some starting fluid on my yellow card and it took it right off. Kinda felt real floaty the rest of the day...

here's my terminology I use for customers so they understand a little better...

s**t---small specks of contamination in the film (normal)

big s**t----pieces of dirt

lots of s**t---lots of contamination, usually from the mohair

lots of big s**t---lots of dirt in the film

f****d up---means it needs replacing

I gotta tell ya braud, I thought that was a made-up term for that black crap. It's nice to know someone else calls it the same thing. I think the film stretcher is one of the best tools for a rookie to drive all over town looking for on his first day.
