I don't see anything that looks too bad about that now. I honestly think it should be legal for the heat rejection part. Sure they can put a law on it too be really light but if it keeps the heat out then great.

Yes Scotty I do expect them to assume everyone is wearing their seat belt. Since that is the LAW in all states! Imo, there shouldn't even be a law for seatbelts. If you want to take your life into your own hands then by all means do so. Who cares. I am sure in some instances a person would have lived when not wearing a seat belt. Personally I wear one all the time. Ok that is neither here nor there. Getting back to the AIR. It is awesome and as you can see can't even tell it is on there. I agree, that stuff should be legailized and I am sure will be before too long

Part of it is to save the government money from people getting brain damage and having to live off the government for the rest of their life. They obviously put them in cars for a reason and have them for a reason.

I wear my seatbelt all the time WHEN A COP is BEHIND ME with lights on.....

I have talked to Emergency Med Techs that have seen more people harmed by seatbelts than you would want to know about.

I think it should be a personal choice, but we have long since been living in a free country....

On the issue of a windshield flexing or not. I would rather it not flex when it is hit and if it does flex that the potential glass fragments NOT be coming off the windshield. I had one friend that crashed many years ago. He went through the windshield with his head. Then he got yanked back inside the car! Ripped his face off and layed it across his head. They were able to put him back together, but he is scarred pretty good from it. Had another friend that had a big deer jump in front of him. Hit the windshield and splattered him with glass shards! Cut him up a good bit. If either had film they might not have been injured as badly.

If the glass doesn't flex, and you hit your head, it'd be more like banging your head into a wall at a high velocity. I'll take the flex with no film anyday.

maybe I'm missing something here , but how does 1.5 mil of poly keep anything from flexing ? :beer I've seen all kinds of test with up 30 mil and the glass still flexes ...

it will flex, but not as much as without film :film just like when you try to break a window that has tint on it, its harder to do

plus a lot of people who are thrown through the windshield survive, but wouldn't if it was tinted since they wouldn't go through it
