I have just tinted a 3 Series E46 Sedan, and the side roll up windows were so curved!

Has anyone found these difficult to tint?

I tried to heat shrink it, but the fingers were SO BIG that I would just crease the film while shrinking.

I don't have too much experience in tinting, but was by far the most curved roll up windows.

Has anyone tinted these before? Any tips on very curved side windows?

They shouldn't be that curved, maybe 4-5 1-2" fingers on the bottom. Try separating the big fingers in to multiple smaller fingers and make sure you aren't bringing more film in to shrink.

Are you shrinking before or after the film is installed?

I am shrinking from the outside before applying the film.

When I push the fingers down to the bottom of the window, I get around 3-4 HUGE fingers.

Huge, I mean 3" long.

and they are fat fingers too!

I can't seem to separate the fingers. Any tips on how to properly lay the film before shrinking?

I am totally lost, and I really am bad at shrinking any film....................

Please help
