Wow dark is he really that bad? Thats just horrendous! lol... But I agree if it's done right it will take some time before you see it, but eventually it will be seen..

the last I got to see was 10 minutes after installation, light gaps on all 4 doors and lots of trash in rear glass.. customer was told :lol2

Yes he's that bad and the owner of the shop is unaware of this because he's never there.... thats ok I get to fix it for him :lol2

I'll try and find a pic of that car tonight after my company leaves.. it is sad because F1 is a big name and it's not going to last around here with sloppy installs, hopefullyt the onwer figures out whats going on soon...

they are getting less and less work with each install he does..

This is how we prep and install vinyl matrix.

1 cut the pattern using closest defroster line or directly under matrix.

2 clean glass for film install + steel wool matrix

3 install film portion and heat all edges.

4 install vinyl pattern WET, overlap a mm.

5 from outside, heat vinyl portion of glass until just uncomfortable to touch. Not too hot.

6 squeege mounting sol from vinyl, slowly to get evenly out.

Thats it. My store manager's 2001 camaro bg vinyl looks perfect after 6 years. No light no whitish look. Use premium vinyl matte.
