You can't blame BestBuy, they've been sold a bill of goods, they have no idea. Blame the guys that convinced them this was a good idea.

:lol

sad part its people in our industry.... they literally left the stereo shop two doors down and pulled into BB.

Look at it this away. Said film company (CP) says they are aligned with Best Buy and will be offering their products in stores nationwide. The stocks go up. No one really cares weather or not it works.

And now they are sding tinting?!?!?!?

Mad!!!

What next? Burgers?

They have been selling electric bikes and scooters in Oregon for quite some time now and have been discussing sales of electric cars for over a year with manufacturers like Mitsubishi. With this type of activity coupled with sales and installation of mobile electronics, doesn't window tint seem like a smart move for them from a business stand point?

I would say no. I think it will cost them money short term, and if they are not making money short term , they wont want to wait it out. Heres the thing, and I have already seen it , You can take a awesome stereo guy, and he will make a bad tinter, because most of the time although he has good mechanical skills he lacks the finess and artistry to make it work. On the other hand , you can give some hippie artist a box of film and some simple tools , and you will see some of the nicest installs around. There is some art in this trade, and a plotter is not going to solve everything .
