I need an Astro Van

Recommended Posts

that looks like a s*x pests van! air matress in the back??? :poke

:lol

Ever thought about a diesel Jetta wagon with a roof rack, the savings in mileage would pay for the car. :thumb

I have one friend who has a Scion Xb with a thule box on top, uses it for everything. I've seen him haul 8mil 72" security in it no problem.

Me luvs our 04 Astro awd ls, Just never drive it. :beer

You would be amazed at how much schitt I can stuff into my scion xb

A word of caution to anyone buying a used GM car.

MAKE SURE THE DEXCOOL COOLANT HAS BEEN COMPLETELY FLUSHED OUT.

I did mine in 06, and still couldnt get the temp to stay under 220 at hiway speeds.

One water pump, stat , hoses , cap and radiator later, the van rarely sees above 200 on the hottest days,

even while running the front and rear a/c.

VW tdi is def a a great mileage master. With VW, you either get a good one , or a lemon, no in betweens.

Been looking for one for 2 years that someone doesnt want a fortune for and that isnt beat up. 18mpg and will haul everything you need it to, great vans! Good luck.

See?

you say 18mpg like thats a good thing

It is for a vehicle that will haul a ton of stuff and is beyond reliable. The other option would be to get a diesel powered full size van and get 22-24mpg. More room and more power, less gas consumption.

Dexcool is basically assisted suicide for a vehicle.
