I did a simple search and didn't find anything on what to do when removing the martierial and the glue that it leaves behind.

can anyone point me in the right direction ,, marterial being removed is 3m ,, no punt intended just need it cleaned up without messing up the finish on the vehicle.

Thanks in advance! :win

did u test the vinyl when it was hot?

haven't seen the vehicle yet, just got a call this afternoon about the removal.

customer said they removed part of the wrap and decided to stop and call someone because of the glue.. I've never really seen much of a problem removing wraps. maybe some glue but nothing real bad..

was looking to get some insight before they stop by in the morning

park it in the sun and pull slowly. For any glue left behind look for a product called speedy. It's like paint thinner but a bit weaker.

Once you get all the vynil off pull it inside and use the speedy on a rag to remove the left over glue. If you remove the vynil slow enough there shouldn't be much glue left. :drool

Personally I use a product called Rapid Remover for the glue.

I have also heard of a product called Vinyl-Off which is supposed to work well....just spray it on the vinyl, wait 15 minutes and peel it off....but have only heard of it....never used it.
