Where do you get your felt from?

I did a strip and re-tint on a 2008 Acura Tl today. The old tint had vertical scratches on all the windows, so I felted up the runners. The felt I get from my supplier doesn't have a very strong adhesive though. I did some test runs of rolling the windows up and down before tinting to see how it held up. One window kept peeling the felt back and smearing adhesive all over the window. After redoing once or twice, It was fine, but I would like something that sticks better so I don't have to worry about potential come backs. Where do you get your felt from? Thanks.

I get mine from pacific states felt. just call and ask for the felt for tint and he'll know what you need.

What I do is, Sand the strip down. Wash and clean with rubbing alcohol. And, when im about to install the felt, I heat the adhesive on the felt with heat gun as I install and press it on. Try it out, hope that helps.

Primer 94 adhesive promoter is a life saver

Primer 94 and lifesaver in the same sentence is an oxymoron; that crap has a 19 page SDS and recommends special breathing apparatus when used.

When it comes to felt, it's also better to wrap rather than installing as a face plate.

im sure bleach and ammonia falls under the same category. just dont use it in a closed small room and im sure youll survive. weve been using it for years with felt and its proven reliable.
