44 tools or film suppliers only, hands down!!!!

I just had a question for Customtinting and the others that are not buying from Zola. What could we do better that would cause you to consider doing business with us? I am asking not to be funny, but to truly understand if there is something we can do to improve our service, offering, etc. to appeal to more customers.

We offer a very solid selection of tools, have very competitive or lower prices than most suppliers in the industry, ship from both the East and West coast for faster shipping accross the US, and now we offer free ground freight on all orders over $49.50. In addition, we try to be active and supportive of industry resources like TD and the IWFA. Finally, we started the Window Film Professionals groups on Linked In and Facebook that combined have over 1700 members to help encourage the open sharing of ideas to further the industry, etc.

Are we missing something that we should be considering? Any feedback or help would be greatly appreciated as we are always trying to improve and your feedback helps us to know if we are on the right track.

Beside that, I would like to a list for each section with a little checkbox and quantity so one can make an order of all items in each category without the need of having to select each item, put it into the basket, having to go back to the categery etc etc etc. I can see your page and 44tools are bascially exact the same.... just a sugestion to make an order much faster...

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

      I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..

      Headlight Taillight Vinyl question... (Looking for CHROME)

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      I can't win with getting tint decent on the windshield. I had 3M on my F150 done twice and still has major defects. Recently did Stratos twice on my F350 and I see this granular spotted, texture pattern on the tint. It's super obvious in the corner here but also right in my view when driving. It's honestly hard to point out and show someone but when your driving and stuff is moving behind the windshield, it becomes more obvious. The lighting also matters. The first time I did the windshield, I had a two foot line on the windshield. Thinking it was tint, they removed the tint and it was apparently a defect in the Ford windshield. An issue between the laminated glass layers caused this big defect. So they removed the tint, I had Ford replace the windshield on a 2024 F350 but when the tint shop removed the tint, they made a bunch of micro scratches in the front windshield, probably from scrapping the glue off. I told them but I didn't care since Ford was replacing the windshield anyways. So if basically I'm trying to figure out what this texture stuff is and if I should have them replace or remove it. Replacing it might just have different issues but also afraid they will scratch the windshield.

      Need some help

      Never overlook the condition of the floor. Back when I did install, I used to mist the floor between the vehicle and the peel board. This is done between misting the window and walking toward the peel board to mist the pattern liner, peel liner and spray adhesive for install. Tacks any dust for the duration of each pattern install, so repeat each time a pattern is going to be installed.
