How do I know?

Gave a quote to GoodYear tires shop and PetCo pet store today... didnt see glass tags on either set of windows. The good year windows face sun in the morning, no shade and the petco windows face sun from noon until the sun goes down, no shade...

How am I supposed to know which films are safe for these windows?

Your film rep should have a film to glass chart that can help you .. you will need to figure out what glazing system you are dealing with. Single or IGU, Tinted or Clear, Tempered, Heat Strengthened or Annealed, Low-e on surface 2 or surface 3.

Thanks Dennis, ill give Dana a call. Tom, which film is that. I went in and talked to the manager today because they had those pull down tint blinds on the gpodyear store and petco... bot sets of blinds were purple and half broken so I told them about tint options and gave them a flyer and a card.
