Polyspray P2 Problem

Recommended Posts

I have a polyspray sprayer, it's about 8 months old. I have only used dawn ultra in it, I also clean out the container by rinsing it out with water until all suds are gone every time I fill it. Today I noticed brownish/reddish specs here and there. It isn't my cleaning process or vehicle, it has to be the sprayer. Does anyone have any advise as to how to remedy this? I would hate to have to order another one and have to wait for it to get here, since this is happeneing in every window. I need a quick fix. Today I cleaned out the "intake tube" and the nozzle. This didn't fix it. I'm wondering if I can put some sort of chemical in it and let it run through for a while. But what chemical is best and won't erode the inside? Thanks in advance.

Rust would make sense color-wise and consistency. I get it from a hose outside. The seal are in good shape, I used to have a problem until recently with the seal coming off almost everytime had to refill it, until I figured out a way to get it to not do it. Is there a better way to clean it than how I did it?
