Just the list of closing costs and such was very long. Learning what short sales are, taxes, inspections, title, insurance on and on etc etc.

Good luck man! It was the most stressful thing I can remember short of losing a loved one. Make sure you and the Mrs. don't take the stress out on each other :twocents

Hey c2c I dont know if youll get it or respond since you are leaving town, but I asked you about how to pull the panels on a 12 camry, was going to do my moms car this weekend since I havnt got around to it, and I figured it be better having a idea going into it than just winging it....

Do yourself a favor and buy "Buying a house for dummies" or something like that. I bought that book some years ago before looking for a home. I learned a lot of information just from reading it. If you are buying used, it is expensive, but in your favor to have the property inspected. We walked away from a property that we loved after reading the inspection report. The chimney was pulling away from the house in that report.

It's mandatory for the loan to have it inspected. :thumb

What does a 1700 sq ft house go for in your area?

It really varies, we are trying to find something under 140k. Looking at 4 places tomorrow, 2 we really like.

I hope we can do this well.

      Residential Film without blue hue?

      Take a look at 3M's Nightvision or LLumar's Dual Reflective series, they both have a warm tone to them.

      Steer clear of Black Armour, Suntek, ASWF. The others are good choices if you are in Australia. Check out the reviews of the installer too. It’s not just the materials that have to be proper. Never go for the cheapest!!!

      Residential Film without blue hue?

      Hey guys I am in the process of having window film installed in my home but have a question about which brand I should go with. Hoping yall can help me out. I have a room that faces a busy street and as a result my blinds pretty much always stay closed. I love having natural daylight but not so much people being able to see what i'm doing in my room/all my expensive equipment. I used to work in the window film industry as a helper/installer/salesman when I was in highschool and we did a lot residential/commercial work. The specific brand of film we used always left a certain blue and cool appearance. Is there any brand of residential film that does not have this effect? I mainly just cannot stand having blue light amplified and am looking for a film that has a neutral shade to it or even a warm/yellow hue. I have single pane windows and I do not necessarily care about heat rejection but if I have to pay more for a ceramic film rather than a dual reflective or a standard film I am willing to if that helps solve the issue. Again, any help is really appreciated with this there are so many new window film brands out there and it really is cool to see how far the industry has come.

      Automotive Tint Comparison

      LLumar, 3M and Solargard have in the industry as far back as the genesis of window film mid-1960's). Solargard is the younger of the three and all others came to play in the last 20 or so years. I've had all three on my vehicles over the years and my current is 3M Crystalline on my Jeep since 2015. It still has stable color, scratch coat is holding strong and impeccable adhesive clarity. Never been garaged. My choice toady would be 3M or LLumar.

      Hook up with Glassy Business and get all the ins and outs of pro vs DIY with window film. That company goes back way before my retirement in 2015. I want to believe they are/were a Vista Film dealer and I cannot remember the owner's name. Peace out.

      Once more thank you, you are the best I been looking at the specs for the products you mention and info into tinting a window. I recently did wrap my wife's car and it turn out really nice, for what I have been seeing tinting a window is similar and I am tempted to do it myself. With that said I can't find any place to buy the products you mention, I found quite a few films in Amazon but they seem sketchy. There is other web sites selling films but the ones you mention I can’t locate, anyhow is there any place where I can buy this products?
