Global Ceramic

I remember some chatter about it being in short supply and some experiencing a bit of 'haze' with it...

Just curious if any updated information was available ?? Is Global still pushing foreward with the offering ??

Have they addressed the 'hazing' ?

I just got a sample of it from Richard....42% I have.....He told me that the Ceramic 5% 20% were ok no haze great looking, But the 42% is hazey....I am using it tomorrow on a Vet if my Customer like the color of it...If not I am using Carbon.....so we shall see......

Gotcha!!! If anything I am going to do a new Camry with it this weekend also....I got 15 20 feet of it or something I think in the 43%

Nobody else here using Global Ceramic???? How bout you Howard or Stan....What have your people using it said???

Here is the latest update:

The initial run was done earlier this year for a total of 4 VLTs: 04/18/33/42. EWF quickly sold everything we received from the factory. Because the film is based on the very popular QDP, we expected the feedback to be very positive and it was. There was a confirmed issue with haze on the 42%.

In the last few days, the Global domestic distributors received new lab samples of the Ceramic 42%. The samples were examined by the distributors. No haze is present. The factory was given the green light to move forward.

EWF did include the QDP Ceramic on it's September 2012 production order, but it is not clear if the entire MOQ was met for the month. If not, it will probably be produced in October or November at the latest.

The QDP Ceramic will be a very welcome addition to the Global line.

My custy with the Vet didn't show up till I went home yest, and it was a R & R also....I was P(ed) off at him needless to say...He has been a good friend of the family for awhile too...But I am going to do my Mom's Camry with it this weekend, It is the old batch though guys of the 42% they had problem with haze....Its look good to me on Roll I won't need to shrink much so we will go from there but I will post when I get it done....It's Ryder Cup weekend so I will get to it if I can....
