How the edges should be finished

Recommended Posts

if you care for your wrap and it is laminated you should get 3+ years. If you seal it properly as well. Where wraps fail is not postheated, vehicle isn't prepped correctly, and not primered and sealed. If it was laminated, there isn't much they can't handle just from day to day use. I tear the crap out of mine to test it and if it is installed correctly, you are golden.

It is laminated, I will look into the pen for the edges.

By seal do you guys mean with heat and a damp cloth?

So I looked thru my fellers catalog and didn't find this edge dealer pen you all are referring too. Can you explain more. I use adhesion promoter on the edges but never knew of the edge sealer.

Sorry for any grammar errors I am on my smart phone.

Okay I found it on page 84 of the catalog. Sounds like nail polish in a felt pen no?

SEALITPEN

The SEALITPEN is a fast and easy way to

seal the edges of your graphics that protects

them from lifting, peeling, edge curling and

contamination. Quick dry acrylic clear with

UV Blockers. Ensures an extended life for all your lettering and
