Need a mirror film to block inmates view of the outside

Recommended Posts

You MUST have brighter on the mirror side at all times if you want to have the effect! There is no way around it. If you lower the lights on the mirror side then you would have to lower the lights on the viewing side all the same no matter the film put on.

From what I have read, SunTek DR Mirror 7% and llumar RN07 seem to be the best two choices. So if the lights are the same at night, it just wont work? that may be fine, as they are all locked down at night

The DR7 has a reflective side and a non reflective side. If the lights are the same, it should work fine. It's just dark compared to a DRDS, SDS, or SYDS in the same brand line.

Won't suggest more films since others have given good suggestions - but this reminds me of a time we were called out to a prison which had a separate women and mens area and they wanted film on the glass to block the women from looking into the men's sections cause the men were pulling down their pants to put on a show for the women.

With it being so dark, would this effect us seeing the inmates?
