Jaguar plotter tint settings

Recommended Posts

I've done PPF for years and just started to get into tinting. I learned to tint free hand but am much quicker using patterns. For some reason, I just can't find the sweet spot in my plotter to cut tint. It either is just scoring the film or cutting all the way through. I have a roll of 3M ST that for some reason is the only tint that plots well but still requires some extra cutting when weeding it. I'm having the biggest problems with SunGard and some generic roll of crap I got for free with my tint class. FWIW, I'm using around 2oz of pressure and a 60 deg blade.

Thanks. I figured it might be the blade. Now I need to find one. Google is no help and neither is Jaguar for that matter. This is a horrible plotter for having to switch between materials. There are no saved settings so I have to constantly change the settings over when I switch material. Def. going back to a Graphtec.
