might try vcool on car?

Recommended Posts

spoke with the nice folks at vcool today. Was told their film is not permeable so water wont pass thru. Saw a window on a car out front just loaded with bubbles.

my thought, would adding alchol to mounting solution help?

the film should let water pass, the rate will be much slower for a film like V-kool but it will have to let water pass or it would not be able to be applied wet.

As for adding alcohol to the mix.....you would destroy the adhesive if you added enough to really matter

Agree with kats; we used some on flat glass and had to REALLLY push the water out. Anything left in there takes forever to cure out; if you leave too much, you'll have to remove and replace. Great film but takes more working to get proper results.

So popular consensus is its more bother than its worth? Besides they seem to be louth to to give any samples

It is very nice film, it just depends on if it works for your business. VK samples are expensive to send out I cna understand their dilemma. Send enough to do a few back windows and it can be a lot of cash and then multiply it by x amount of dealers that want to try it. :krazy
