The only time I have had issues with door edges not sticking is when you stretch it going down. Make sure its long enough so that you aren't stretching much from top to bottom. The problem is the inside of the door has a weld line which lets air flow through it and will cause it to lift up if there is tension on the film.

 
You understand the problem, that's right, but,  I think the bubble is not enough to take off everything. 
 
I'm thinking the problem is the adhesive.
 
I'm switching  brand for test.

      Break it down. As Judge Judy would say, 'Your water, their car, you are responsible'. Vehicle owner is not responsible and it would be insulting to ask them to check with their insurance. If your insurance comes into play; if the repair cost are greater than your deductible, if so, you can go that route? However, insurance co's tend to react with raised rates with claims to cover your activities. From a long term perspective using insurance for every issue like the one you're facing, it could add up to being uninsurable. Save insurance claims for catastrophic claims. If your company is on excellent financial footing and repairs fall under your deductible, you could simply accept the responsibility and pay for the repairs yourself. This would work in the long term by boosting your biz-client credibility through word of mouth. As you may already surmise, this would benefit over the long term. Business life lesson here; be selective in what vehicles, there's always another one that will fill the void without complications. Modifying approach to installation through moisture mitigation will also alleviate this type event. Good luck and come back and tells us how it played out; inquiring minds would like to know.

      PPA, The best info given is in the post you quoted. A product with an 05 designation runs counterintuitive to what you said about 'to not be super dark'. With 05 films, think limousine window darkness.

      It is very strange... I've yet to have that problem myself. You do need to he more diligent in your water management to assure less water usage. If they're trying to hold you liable, refer them to your insurance. Your insurance will investigate and deem who has responsibility. If they deny it, your customer deals with the insurance and you're out of the liability.

      Go with SolarGard TruVue 05. It's gonn be the best for what you're describing. Huge heat rejection, low heat absorbing to window.

      TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      I’ve tried both pure max carbon and koolmax ceramic. So from what I’ve experienced the pure max is honestly very easy to work with and just feels right as the beginner I am. I’ve easily shrunken rear and front windshields as a beginner with the pure max so I know someonewith experience can easily work with it. However I’m not sure if just me but the koolmax ceramic has just been a headache thing to shrink on rear windows only. Heard the adhesive isn’t as good either especially by dot matrix’s which I encountered on a 2000 mustang. But yea I recommend the pure max line although I switched over to geoshield .
