help removing this baked on tint please

Recommended Posts

so we've got this Nissan 350z, and to remove the back window tint, we used a black thrash bag with soapy water between it and the tint, let it sit in the sun. anyways a coworker pulled it and left the bottom later. and it will not come off. help please! we've steamed it, scrubbed it, soaked it with degreaser. nothing will get it. the customer wants his defroster to work.

I've removed rear window film plenty of times, but this stuff is brittle and there's no peeling it. And like I said the top layer peeled off already. So ammonia will eat into it enough to peel it? Normally the bag trick or steaming it works.

So use a razor blade to pick at the corner of the 3x3 square thats left. Just pick at the part between the defrost so you dont harm the defrost. Theres like an inch of room hetween each defrost line. If nothing else, tell the car owner hes SOL
