help removing this baked on tint please

Normally we check all our removals out before we send a guy to do it. He just didn't say anything til it was too late.

Besides even if you did have to scrape a little bit at the defrost line with a blade, youd have to scrape off a TON of it to actually harm it

You know how scraping between the foggers goes. Your always bound to hit one, and I've also got to retint it.

Wait, you used soapy water with the bag the first time around? Facepalm

No we do our removals outside so we can tint inside, that floorspace is valuable lol. Our helper does the removals a lot of the time

Yeah its always worked by steaming it off, then when you peel the bag it comes off with the tint.

Sucks for whoever has to remove tint out in the heat inside of a car. Lol I hate INSTALLING rear windshields INSIDE the shop, let alone outside.... lol

Aaah its not that terrible he only does one aa day maybe, we don't get a whole lot of removals. He normally just doing detailing

And were in ny, its not all that hot here

Once the film starts to separate you're basically screwed unless you stop and pull film from a different angle. Lucky for me if we get stuck in this situation I can just pull the back glass out which makes stripping the film much easier. In your case not really sure what to tell ya.

Get a big piece of misc film... Shrink, cut, install .... Set out in sun for a couple hours... Then bag and strip the whole lot of it... The new film will bond to the old layer still stuck on the glass...
