help removing this baked on tint please

As I was reading all of this I was getting ready to suggest the same thing that TTS just did. Works great most of the time. Sure you waist a piece of film, but if charge enough it is all worth it.

try this... bag it using Awesome from the dollar store... works every time.  I just did an 11yr old tint for a back glass on a Eclipse... it got it all out, very little scrubbing to do thereafter.

well used a garbage bag and ammonia, softened it up a bit, but it was still hard work, I sat in the back of that car and scraped it with my ez reach that I put a nice square edge on. got about half of it off in the two hours I could bear heat. I would peel back the bag and scrape, if it dryed at all it wouldn't budge.

let's just say this is gonna be an expensive removal.

I do like the tint idea though, makes sense.

we finished it. ultimately I took a platinum easy reach, and put a square edge on it bagged it in the sun. scraped it til it dried up, then bagged it again, etc. then I used 0000 steel wool to scrub off.the millions of specs of glue. we have never seen tint this bad.

I always retint it with scraps, let it sit in the sun for a few. Take the black trash bag spray it down with straight ammonia, steam it for a while. Take a 5 way sharpen a edge with the hard card sharpener and scrape away. Works well when you have a new sharp edge.

Same thing happened to me very rare has a nissan silvia 2000 back glass done in two piece remove film easy then glue here comes out super stripper gets everything off the glue stayed ok 4 inch scraper damage dimister but all clean
