thick glue on film that will absorb specks

So ive always wondered if its possible that a film could be made that would have thick enough adhesive that you could press in specks to disappear. Im not expecting it to lay dirt. But the 2 or 3 micro specks that show up after the film has dried. Why is that possible?

I would think that the thicker the adhesive the shorter the life it will have. So, would it be worth being able to "bury" a few small specks to have the whole window fail sooner and have to replace it?

2 or 3 micro specks is not anything to worry about

there is no one on here that does not get 2 or 3 micro specks in their windows

Hi Ryker,

Adhesive coat weight is specified in "Pounds Per Ream". The objective is deposit as close to the specified amount as possible. In addition to the reason you point out, it also will degrade the optics.
