Yeah, the vent visors on my van and Civic come all the way down the front edge to the bottom seal.  not sure how you would cut the front edge on those.  I get it if you can just cut a little and finish it off the window, but you can't even get to the front edge.

That sounds like weathertech visors. You can pop em out, tint, then pop back in.

You can cut your front edge on top and in front of the vent visor. Just have to be very precise so you don't slice up the ventshade mirror bracket.

That's how mine were this last time.  I got them in there good.  But I alcohol wipe the track and double 3m tape.  I might have actually taken some heat to it that last time to to get them to stick good.  I hate when they get loose and they had gotten that way from the initial install.  Well, it's back in again, but the windows look great so I have no plans on retinting those again....lol.

Taking some vent visers off is a pita,,learn to cut it with them on,,most can be done,,there is risk of creasing,,messed up cut if not up high enough and also the film can stick to the viser and when you roll the window down and cut,,you end up with a pattern that's to short,,wtf?

Plotter guys may have it easy?

I did this truck all from the inside

Some big visors good job they look like there in the gasket of the door if you wanted to Coyle you pull them out and re do the 3m
