Xpel ppf installer recommendations in the Bay Area

Recommended Posts

I have front protection on my car with an Xpel pro wrap, but having recently almost scratched the bumper, I've decided to get the rest of the car wrapped as well.

Would anyone here had a recommendation for a good installer in the Bay Area? I really like Elite auto films shop, but their price for wrapping the rest of the car was 4X what I paid just for the front.

I don't want to cheap out and get the worst and cheapest installer out there, but don't think I want to pay 4X for a nice shop.

I live in the city and would prefer dropping it off close by, but if not I'm willing to drive to a remote location in the Bay Area as well so long as it comes well recommended.

Thanks!

The number of installers that can perform full car installs well is not very large.  I would caution you to choose very wisely and lean more towards the more expensive installers, as there is usually quite a bit of hand-trimming involved on a full car, which means, you only want the most skilled installers working on your vehicle.

4 times the front is a reasonable charge, as the rear of the car is generally much more labor intensive.  One should expect to pay in the realm of $6000 - $7500 for a full car installation.
