PPF Process Explained for Consumer

Recommended Posts

Here's a recent video that we organized with Engineering Explained that was picked up by Road & Track.  The video does a pretty decent job of explaining to consumers how much work we all go through as installers to provide them with the finished result!

Nice video @XPEL Jeff

Does it matter what kind of wire brush you use for the demo?

Pretty much any brass wire brush works, but there are definitely some that are better than others depending on if you like them stiff or not.  The main thing to look for is one that has uniform bristles.

That sounds about right. Brass is going to be the softest metal out there to do the demo with. Go with something a little stiffer or stronger, you will go right through the top coat and into the film on just about every film out there. Won't be getting rid of those scratches as they will be too deep. So just like every characteristic in PPF, there are going to be limitations.
