What is your recommended PPF?

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I'm Ofer from Israel, new here.

I own a car studio, part of our services is PPF.

We work with Xpel and Llumar.

Lately I've read great review about Suntek PPF and wanted to hear more about it.

Also to see what is the best PPF you recommend of.

Thx

If you are already using the newer Llumar PPF that it much more stretchable than the old stuff, then you are already using Suntek...same film.  Old Llumar was 8mil while new Llumar is 6mil.

Ok, good to know. Pricing is the same between Llumar and Suntek?

and the New Ultra by Suntek is the same film by Llumar?

Forgot to mention, SunTek yes.

Thanks for the answer.

What is your spray slip solution product? I use water with Jonson soap or Xpel Gel.

regarding alcohol I use IPA 100% in 1/10 with water.

any other tips?

I am not sure on pricing since I do not have Suntek pricing.  Suntek PPF/Llumar PPF is the same film just placed in different boxes.  Suntek Ultra/Llumar Platinum is also the same film just placed in different boxes.  Only difference between the regular Suntek/Llumar and the Ultra/Platinum is they added a hydrophobic layer to Ultra/Platinum.  This is suppose to help reduce water and dirt getting into the PPF.  The warranty was also increased from 5 years to 10 years on the Ultra/Platinum.
