Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

tuqmks for any help. I have a car with cquartz  ceramic coating. I would like to have PPF installed on the roof panel and rear trunk panel.

I don’t think there should be any problem but I wanted to check with you guys and see what you think.

thanks for any info.

You can apply it to the top of a coated car, it will just change the adhesive properties.  As long as the installer is knows how to work with the different properties, it shouldn't be a problem.

Ideally though, you'd like to protect the film with the coating on any future jobs.

Yes I’m going to coat over the film. I just  decided to add more PPF on some different areas after the car has been coded already. And wanted to make sure it was still OK to apply the PPF. Then I will coat over the film as well.
