1. I’ve got a job coming up and was wondering how you guys generally apply frost across door seams. It’ll be a 48” privacy strip approx 12’ long. Would you apply it across the door seams and cut it afterward or precut each piece? Was thinking tinting Across would be easier to keep straight. Anything to look out for? IMG_1571.jpeg

2. Yea I see the “squeeze” things on the sides that they’ve been using forever on the xl trucks. That’s usually an easy one to get off. Not today apparently

3. You sure that’s a 17? I thought the 17s went to a set screw. Regardless they suck, some just worse than others. I’ve broken two out of 100 or so.

4. Looking online they are roughly $100 for 450. One box will last me about a year maybe more. Not trying to thread jack but I wouldn’t be surprised if these aren’t rebranded. I never knew how many products were actually made by zep until he told me. They buy chemical companies all the time but don’t change the names.

5. It’s a white box of 500 is all I can tell you. I have a friend that worked for them and got me a couple boxes from their internal store. I’ve looked for them online and never been able to find them. I’ll look again. Honestly these may be the same thing, just rebranded.

6. Be careful to remind the mechanic at inspection time, i get a few people come in and the mechanic started destroying the tint to get the sticker off. Just a heads up, those guys remove stickers like they're on auto pilot and don't think to check for tint film.

I’m ashamed to admit it, but I’ve done this on a truck that I tinted the night before. Irate would be an understatement
7. My Jeep hit 305K on the way to work this morning. :drive   :wow

Roach  I've gotten away from the chains almost completely.  The meat and 2 two places is where it's at. :fat   I might eat Chik-Fil-A every now and again, and this local chain called Milo's is pretty good, but that's about it.  The only other chain we eat at is Cracker Barrel, otherwise it's a local place. :food

Is the Milos restaurants the same people that make the sweet tea in grocery stores?
8. Having peace of mind is a valuable thing. When I starting tinting I was either too hard headed, stupid, or crazy to let it beat me. I’m glad i stayed persistent, but 12 years later I don’t know if I would have had the same determination if I started tinting today. Kinda like golf, I enjoy it but I would never try to learn today if I didn’t have a long history with it.
