This conversation makes my hand cramp, by all means buy a corny tank or 2 and be done with it. Best move I ever made was getting away from hand sprayers.

been a P2 user for almost 30 years. I remove the trigger lock and lube the slide every month or so. 3 or 5 gallon tanks are great if you are stationary, I can't lift them anymore. The spray tip goes bad in a few months. I prefer the fine mist for hanging. Most professionals buy good tools, I would question a mechanic that hand walmart tools. good tools last longer then cheap crap.

for real I bought a few about 8 months ago and they all still work. Poly2 seals don't last unless you empty them every night. I'm to lazy for all that.

Buy a corny and be done with it. No recurring expenses then. You can build one for about 150 ish.

Spend the extra cash on the silver spray master bottles they work excellent and last forever I had a set of 6 of them that I would fill just about every day

I use it like chewing gum..I remove the silver stuff and clean the area pretty good then put as much as it takes to fix the problem

Every time I refill my bottles I pour some plain water in there first, shake it up real good then dump it out. I feel like if I do this then I don't have to do a major maintenance cleaning very often on my bottles which is usually me pouring warm water and alcohol in there.
There is a thread on this somewhere. I recall reading it

Buy yourself the proper clamping tool with the braces, and create works of art when making your hose attachments.

Jkatfelix reacted to Quadrunnerjake in Does anybody use a generator for heat gun for mobile jobs??
Ahh I steel wool everything with no issues on any cars really, when my shrink used to be poop I would steel wool then wipe with iso. I use heat gun now but torch seems to be much more efficient for mobile jobs. Not sure on how much better it is in shop setting though.

Sometimes but I scrub the crap out of all windows then use a clay bar....unless it's the charger then I steel wool then clay bar....then scrub
And right before installing I turn on the car and the rear defrosters and install but you have to be somewhat quick because it tacks fast

Replacements for the corny keg hose are at home depot. I bought the hose and hose clamps and a Nicholson file for 18 bucks
