Glue method on BG

I always think it's funny how no one mentions to the guys first trying the glue that it voids the warranty. ( :DD wonder if you guys mention that to your customers?)

vinyl does not void the warranty, and you can add $35 to the price tag. and it looks just like paint, except there's no chance of spraying the headliner of some 4|\|4L retentive mustang owner.

sure the glue looks awesome............................for now...... :DD

until the film manufacturers put out a glue, that they will back up when it fails, I'll leave the blue school glue to my 4 year old and his pre-k class.

I have never had a warranty denied for glue use

so I don't need to mention it to my customers

because........ I don't feel that dis-colored film, de-laminated film, or adhesive failure (on the entire car)

has anything to do with a few inches of glue on the matrix

I will be the first to admit blue school gel has ammonides in it....

but no installer in their right mind would turn in a warranty because of a matrix issue :40

I have glue on film older than pre-K

save the vinyl for kiddy stickers :40

oh well hell, I must be mistaken...........again. but since I've only had 6 warranty claims in the past 10+ years (all with SG HP over 5 years old), I wouldn't know about the claims being denied or not.

(anyone who uses Llumar, call your distributor and ask if it voids the warranty if you use glue)

and zolar, if you're having that many warranty claims, way up there where you are, maybe you should look into a different line of film. :40

My film distributor and I have a straight up business relationship. I only have a few legitimate warranty claims a year. If a car were to come back because of the glue failing in the dot matrix-I'D fix it .no need to file a warranty because we know the elmers caused it! If a car comes back due to film failure-I'd fix it -they pay! They are not going to deny paying me even if I told them I glued the dots-ss

I have 1 warranty claim from a film defect 3 years ago (wierd orange-peel texture)

and 1 that I just had for adhesive failure (blurry) last week

they even gave me the roll # ..........all I had back then was invoices

my rep takes care of me, partly because I don't have all the

warranty problems, like some shops do

I have about 10 customers with failed film each year,

from the previous tint contractor

who used a different brand of film

South Ga. sun is hard on film

I have had success with my current auto line

but I am adding a high- end line to step up the price, and quality

and am trying out a couple different film companies

I want zero warranty problems..ever

but I will settle for less than one a year :whisper
