Sorry ttoenni2,

I was taking the p1ss!

If you're determined to do this be prepared to waste a lot of film.

Read and re-read this forum and be prepared to waste lots of film.

Use the search feature on this site and be prepared to waste a lot of film.

Oh and you might find you'll wasre a bit of film on your first 50 cars!

If you're that determined to do it yourself then good luck to you and I hope it comes out OK.

Back glass is a pain in the ass to learn so do lots of searching on here - it's the best resource you'll find.

Good Luck and happy christmas!

Cheers

Joe

everyone always says to get it done professionally, but im actually not doing it myself just because I dont have the money- I want to learn how to do it just like I have learned how to do many other things. I have replaced every part of my exhaust and intake on my car (including the manifold) and I had to run all new vacuum hoses. I just think that was probably a little more complicated than tinting windows... even though I might waste some tint. However, I cant waste it if I dont have it, so... links? numbers? this probably wont work... (posting pic...)

by the time you buy all the film and all the tools you need to do a good job on her car...you will spend more money then it will take to just have a pro do it :nope:copcar

please take our advice and take it to a pro if you want her to have a good tint job done on her car

but if you want her to have a car that looks like a POS ...SURE...go ahead and try it

dont come back crying that you tinted her car and it looks like dog sheit :jerkit

well, the quad 4 intake manifold didn't exactly "fit" onto my LD9... I had to port match and drill new mani holes. (sorry had to say that) Can you give me some reasons that tinting is so hard, because it doesn't seem that bad. and p p p please- do you know any place I can get tint?

the reason I ask is that there is a shop that sells stereo equip and tint windows near where I live. One of my friends got a "professionally" built speaker box for his car and it sounded like crap. turns out, the volume of the box was almost 1/2 the recommended amount. I built him a box for 25$- no leaks, no gaps, and the right size and it sounded great. firt time ever working with wood too. He then let the same people tint his windows and they did a decent job, so... I might screw it up once or twice when I practice on my car, but its no big deal. I just want a link or number I can order solar gard from. Please? anyone?
