does window tint affect satelite radio

So the next question is : is there vehicles out there with factory SAT have the antenna built into the rear glass or are they ALL exterior mounts :trustme

if the antenna is built in to the glass the tint would be behind it and it would still make sight to sight with the transmitter.

TW did you try putting the tint under the antenna?? that would be a better test I would think

it should not affect it much at all either way in theory.....TintWizard, nice try on attempting a scientific experiment.......

Thanks..but seriously..as soon as I layed ANY metalized film from the sample book over the magnetic antenna that mounts on the car , I watched the signal strength meter on the radio drop dramatically ..to the point where it was cutting in and out .

I guess the only real test is just to tint a car that has the antenna built into the rear window ( if there is any SAT out there with the antenna there) :trustme
