How much did the birth cost? Hospital bills, etc. The weekly and monthly stuff I can handle, I am just not sure if I'm gonna have to dish out 5K in January of all months for the delivery.

one good thing about hospitals is they do not require all the money at once. You can pay them a little each month, and they never charge interest. Just make sure you pay them something each month. You don't want to get turned over to a collection agency, but with hospitals, they rarely do that. They will be more than happy to set a payment plan. If you and your significant other are living comfortably now, the new addition is not that bad. Does your other half work now? If she does, the loss of her income might hurt a bit, so start saving now. But DO NOT give your savings to the hospital. Use is for bills, diapers, wipes, stuff like that.

Congrats bro. I have 4 girls and one boy. I hope your first is a boy because they are so much easier than girls. Don't sweat the small stuff your parental instincs will take over.
