Cord burns, rubber marks on the metal, ect usually are ok. Just as long if it's not smashed to pieces (run over by a car)

I just replaced mine 2 days ago.If my heatgun lasts 3 months or more, It has done it's job. I gladly pay for another one. Good buisness karma I think.
