vclimber once used a heat gun on curved atrium glass to do a little last minute touch up on some fingers. Nothing cracked but vclimber will probably never do that again.

Speaking of heat lamps... a friend of mine caught his film sample on fire doing a heat lamp demo.

That's nothing! I covered a window once with 1" plywood in winter while it was dark, but I must admit, I could have used a heatlamp

Another window broke. This one didnt have film(thats right, my hands havent been on it). This one was a smaller bathroom window facing south. These are high quality Jeld Wens that have been sitting in storage for about 2 years. I can halfway explain the ones I broke but 3 in one house? Anyone who has any real knowledge I would like to know whats going on. No uninformed negative post please.

Do they run in from the edge of the glass at 90 degrees before they make an arc?

one starts at the bottom in the middle of the glass, goes straight up about 7 inches, then makes a smooth 90 degree turn and straight to the side

the other is similar to what we have seen before when there is a flaw behind the seals. It stars out then comes back together to make one crack. Kool looking design.

I hope this makes sense...kinda hard to describe
